About Srinivasa Kalyanam

Srinivasa Kalyanam (also called Sri Venkateswara Kalyanam; శ్రీనివాస కల్యాణం / ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ) is the divine wedding of Lord Srinivasa, the form of Vishnu worshipped as Venkateswara at Tirumala, and Goddess Padmavathi. According to tradition, the gods gathered to witness the marriage, and Srinivasa borrowed from Kubera to meet the wedding costs, a story devotees remember in their offerings at Tirumala. The Kalyanotsavam ritual re-enacts this wedding at Tirumala and in many Venkateswara temples. This print brings the scene into your home as a reminder of devotion, commitment and blessings.
