About Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy

Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy (లక్ష్మీ నరసింహ స్వామి / ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ನರಸಿಂಹ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ) is the form of Lord Narasimha, the man-lion avatar of Vishnu who appeared to protect his devotee Prahlada, shown calm and gracious with Goddess Lakshmi seated beside him. Devotees worship him for protection, courage and justice, and the presence of Goddess Lakshmi is seen as a sign of his compassion. He is worshipped at temples such as Yadadri (Yadagirigutta), Ahobilam and Simhachalam, and Narasimha Jayanti is celebrated each year. This print brings his serene, protective presence into your home or prayer space.
